Tim Hanson
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Tim Hanson is the founder and CEO of Sherwood Forest, and has been working in technology since 1986. Since 1991, Tim has been negotiating large technology contracts on behalf of corporations throughout the world. He’s had the privilege of serving 2 Fortune 10 and 8 Fortune 100 corporations, along with hundreds of public and private companies. Collectively, clients have saved over $500 million in the past ten years alone. Tim’s work is guided by one overriding principle – he wants what is fair for his clients. Clients deserve the very best contract pricing and terms available from their vendors. Tim is an expert in network, communications and technology contracts.
Tim serves on the board of Specialisterne Minnesota, a non-profit he founded in 2011. Specialisterne Minnesota hires and trains individuals with autism spectrum disorder for employment in information technology.
Todd Lindberg
President
Todd Lindberg, President of Sherwood Forest, is an attorney and contract specialist with over 19 years experience helping companies operate more efficiently. He has practiced law, has worked for technology service providers and has represented numerous clients in negotiations with service providers, all to lower costs and improve profitability. His contract negotiation experience has had him sitting on the vendor side of negotiations as well as on the client side of negotiations. His focus is not only on cost reduction but on doing what is best for the client company and its business.
Todd delivers Meals on Wheels and serves as a board member of Specialisterne Minnesota.
Jim Erickson
Chief Technology Officer
Jim Erickson is the Chief Technology Officer at Sherwood Forest. Jim has been directly involved in all facets of Information Technology (IT) since 1978. He has held senior IT management positions in several major corporations, including VP of Administration, SUPERVALU’s Risk Planners; VP of IT Development Services, Thrivent Financial; VP of IT, McKesson’s Redline Healthcare; VP and CIO, NordicTrack; Sr. VP and CIO, Benfield Blanch; Sr. VP and COO, GCC Networks; CTO, Lincoln Financial Advisors and VP of Information Services, Lincoln Financial Group.
Jim is active in SIM, the Society of Information Managers, serving as President of both the Dallas, TX and Minnesota Chapters.
Steve Kowalke
Chief Financial Officer
Steve Kowalke, Chief Financial Officer of Sherwood Forest, has been working in finance and management consulting since 1980. As VP and Treasurer at Target Corporation, he had responsibility Financing, Banking, Investments, Risk Management and Tax. After a 25-year career at Target, Steve formed 7 Peaks Consulting, which assists non-profit and for-profit companies in financial management, organizational design, leadership development and mergers and acquisitions. His clients include several Fortune 500 corporations as well as some of the largest non-profits in the Twin Cities.
Steve serves as board member of a host of organizations, including Children’s Home Society and Specialisterne Minnesota.
